Pada hari Senin, 23 Oktober 2023, siswa dan siswi kelas 4, 5 dan 6 mengikuti seminar dengan judul Menciptakan Lingkungan Sekolah Bebas Kekerasan Seksual. Seminar ini di pimpin oleh Bapak Yanuar Lurisa Aldio, S.Psi. Beliau merupakan konselor dari Universitas Multimedia Nasional.
Dalam kegiatan tersebut, semua siswa diberikan pengetahuan mengenai pengertian dari kekerasan seksual, contoh-contoh kekerasan seksual yang dapat dialami oleh siswa-siswi khususnya dalam tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Ternyata kekerasan seksual dapat terjadi dalam kejadian kecil sampai yang besar. Siswa dan siswi juga diajarkan langkah awal ketika mengalami kekerasan seksual oleh teman atau orang sekitar.
Kekerasan Seksual adalah aktivitas yang menyerang anggota badan dan area seksualitas seseorang yang mengakibatkan masalah pada kejiwaan atau mental seseorang sehingga bermasalah pada pendidikan. Tindakan kekerasan seksual di lingkungan sekolah dapat terjadi dari hal kecil yaitu mengejek bentuk badan, warna kulit sampai dengan menyentuh bagian tubuh depan sampai bagian bawah perut atau area kelamin. Siswa siswi diminta agar jika melihat, ataupun menjadi korban dalam kekerasan seksual dapat memberitahukannya kepada Wali kelas, guru dan tenaga kependidikan yang lainnya. Supaya dapat ditindak lanjuti lebih jauh.
